On 20.06.2019, in Cluj-Napoca, the IVth APSIA Conference has taken place, an event that has had the greatest number of guests so far. Also it has had a great success.
Having over 50 guests that represented 39 companies form the fire fighting industry and also representatives of ISU Cluj and CNSIPC Bucharest, the conference covered all the important themes connected to the production of fire extinguishers (certificates, mass production, respecting the type approvals) and also to the identifying, checking, repairing and recharging of this kind of products.
The main purpose of APSIA on the short run is informing all the companies that are authorised to service fire extinguishers about the legal procedures of identification of non-conform products in the market, about what should be removed and replaced and about what kind of extinguishers can be checked, repaired and/or recharged.
The need of these kind of campaigns comes from the apparent difficulty of understanding of OMAI 138/2015 that many profile companies seem to face.
Because of the existence of a great number of non-conform products and also extinguisher service that is performed in total opposition with the law (OMAI 138/2015) and having the support of great importance from the authorities (CNSIPC, Market Surveillance, IGSU), APSIA’s representatives will continue the series of conferences in other Romanian towns to make sure that a big number of companies are able to accumulate the necessary info in order to perform their services in compliance with the laws that govern our domain.
